Brazilian waxing is a method of hair removal that removes all (or almost all) of the hair from the entire pubic area. This method of waxing is also known as a “full Brazilian.” Brazilian waxing offers a number of benefits. It’s an effective way to remove unwanted hair and can last up to six weeks. It can be a more long-lasting and less painful way to get rid of unwanted hair than other hair removal methods such as shaving and plucking. Furthermore, you won’t need to deal with side effects such as clogged pores or ingrown hairs!
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING A BRAZILIAN WAX
Be sure to have the area to be waxed thoroughly washed and cleaned before your appointment; a warm shower will help open your pores so the hair will come out easier from the root. Wear loose-fitting and/or breathable clothing to your appointment to maximize comfort after your appointment.
We will treat you with complete care and discretion for the duration of your session. You can expect total privacy and are welcomed to ask any questions before we begin. During the waxing process, the esthetician will use a waxing stick to apply a thin layer of wax to the area, then quickly remove it using a special strip. This process will be repeated until the entire area is waxed, moving from the front to the back. You may be asked to help hold areas or adjust your position to allow us to reach the entire area you want waxed. Your Brazilian wax session will likely last between 15 and 30 minutes in total.
We will provide information on aftercare guidelines to reduce irritation and remain comfortable while your skin heals.
